Peak Perks SaveOnEnergy

Peak Perks is a voluntary demand response program that rewards eligible Ontario residential customers and small businesses for helping reduce electricity demand during periods of peak summer usage. Participants with an eligible Wi-Fi-enabled smart thermostat receive a $75 virtual prepaid Mastercard® when they enroll and $20 each year they remain enrolled. During peak demand events, the thermostat may automatically adjust the temperature by up to 2°C for up to 3 hours, typically after pre-cooling the home or business. Participants are notified before each event and can opt out at any time by adjusting their thermostat manually or through the thermostat's app. The program helps reduce strain on Ontario's electricity grid while maintaining customer comfort.
